My professor introduced this app to me when I was prepping for a tournament. I am 39 and was 38 at the time and the techniques in this app are useful to anyone at any age. It really helped me in my competitions and in my everyday rolling at my gym tremendously.
I have had this app for over a year and it has been a remarkable resource for effective strategies on the mat. I started BJJ at 56 and can't keep up with the young guys. Roy is crystal clear. For example, his simple strategies for escaping mount and side control have saved me many times. My favorite is his super simple defense against the kimura. It leaves my opponents completely confused. While many of the techniques are basic there is actually a lot of material here. The more I watch it the more I learn
Mr. Harris has a way of really simplifying a very complex martial art. This app contains nothing but "meat and potatoes"....no fluff. It's easy to navigate through the chapters. The sound and film quality are excellent. The title speaks for itself but he really does give you information you can use the next time you train. I've surprised some of the "young guns" at my club because all of the sudden I can compete with them by playing "smarter" and not trying to match their seemingly never ending endurance.
