This is my 1st festival, and I am excited. However, the videos are not promising and today (5/27) and the new lineup isn’t updated on the app yet. Not a promising start 🤞
it is sun, june 1st—the day after my worst ever music festival experience.. i had the displeasure of being forced to download this app in order to get any information about door open and set times.. a quick google search or #rootspicnic will tell you how horrible day #1 of RP25 was so i’ll focus on how this app communicated absolutely nothing.. aside from alerts trying to convince me to vote for the bet awards and to use my chase card to get a discount on criminally overpriced merch i called my sister to look up info not provided on the app while hundreds if not thousands of ppl gave up and went home disgusted after traveling from all over the world (literally).. there was not a single update on set times the entire 3hrs i waited on line in the rain. no apology msg. no maps to help orient ppl who travelled in from far and aren’t familiar w/ the venue.. i was dumb to assume the info would be avail when i eventually got inside but nope, the few information booths i saw were unstaffed. there was no large map anywhere to guide you and none of the event staff knew anything, including how to find the medic tent or where the nearest (well only) exit was.. anyway, lemme not get into how the event itself was not just terrible but terribly unsafe.. when i left just before 1a, i started to get alerts reminding me that my fave artists (who had performed while i was on line) would be starting soon.. so, tired of the gaslighting, i happily deleted this useless app note - the 1 star is obligatory but please read it as zero stars for this app
All the info you need for the picnic. The layout is vast and this allows you to find the stages, artist set times, food, rest rooms etc! Must need app if you plan on attending.
