While taking the real test, I was feeling angry that none of the questions were exactly what I had seen in this app. I was expecting a situation like the ham radio exam prep apps where the actual test questions are public. I later found out that in FAA exams, the current test questions bank is not in the public domain. I got all 60 questions correct, so obviously the app did a great job of preparing me (I didn’t use any other resources). I used it for about 5 hours of total study, mostly in exam mode. YMMV; I had taken the private pilot exam about 15 years ago, so if you’re coming with less background, expect to spend a little more time.
This is the perfect combination of value and sUAS study help in a handy app format. Learning mode gives you explanations of why each answer is right or wrong and keeps track of the ones you miss making it easy to ID weaknesses. With this, combined with my paper copy of Pilots Handbook of Aeronautical Knowledge, I’m confident I can pass the test first try, no questions.
Great app for getting right into material or practice tests. Each question gives you an explanation in the answers and a reference on where to find more. After purchasing and taking all the practice questions I felt confident enough to schedule my exam. Great app! Love the zoom feature.
