Rambler: Voice Journal & Diary

Rambler help me capture thoughts when my hands are busy. The voice transcription works well, and I love being able to journal during my daily walks. The AI prompts are helpful without being pushy, and the privacy-focused design is reassuring. While it won't replace traditional journaling for everyone, it's perfect for anyone who gets their best thinking done while moving or struggles to sit down and write. The developer clearly put thought into making journaling more accessible for busy lives. Worth trying if you want to build a more consistent reflection practice!

Starting a daily journaling habit has long been on my to-do list but it’s hard to find the time. Rambler makes it easy to journal via voice in a new entry each day, totally hands free. Being able to lock and pocket my phone while using my voice to write feels like the future. Accurate dictation has gotten *insanely great* with the latest AI developments and Rambler harnesses this. I’ve only used it for a few entries at this point but the accuracy seems to be about 99.9% and even does punctuation (periods, commas) well. Bonus: it’s effectively a utility / tool-like app in how it works as expected *for* you w/o asking for your info, trying to show ads, algorithmic content feeds to maximize engagement, etc. goes back to the gist of how we’ve always wanted apps to be.
