Puffin Browser Pro

Note: A quick read of other reviews show me that your experience depends on your internet connection. I have only tested this at home thusfar, for what I hope are obvious reasons (quarentine), and at hope I have exceptional internet, so your milage may very. With the note out of the way, Where to begin??? This browser is speedy, renders webpages with no issues (unlike iOS 6 safari), and has ingenous features, like the virtual keyboard/trackpad, like, why do all browsers not have this, I imagine (I haven’t enocuntered a case where I needed it yet) this would be a life saver for playing web games that were designed for desktop! Also the browser looks nice. It’s well designed, I like it’s black on while default color scheme (at least on the latest supported version for iOS 6), and overall, it just looks like someone put time and effort into putting this thing together. That’s also shown by the fact that this browser is still working (which it’s a cloud browser, meaning that it only remains functional so long as Puffin keeps the servers up) after being discontinuted for some time now! Well we do (and should be able to) expect this kind of legacy support, to actually deliver that helps show that Puffin put time and effort into this browser. Whenever I need to use my aging iPod Touch 4th gen (my only pocketable device that can access the internet), the Puffin browser from now on will be my browser of choice. In summary, I’m impressed Puffin. :D

This is really worth your money, this version of puffin has no ads, faster service, easier controls, and so much more! I don’t regret spending my money on it, because it’s worth the price! Now, my opinion about people using this as their main browser: No, don’t depend on this as your main browser! Puffin was mainly released to be able to have the same games and formats as a computer. It was made for looking at things you can only access on the computer/laptop. But now that they released it to have an option between a computers options and a phones options, everyone is choosing phones. Guys, you need internet for this to work, that’s why your getting all kinds of bugs! I get that it’s faster, but these people are writing reviews like “I’m cursing at my iPad bc it’s not as fast as puffin”. Like seriously? Your that dependent on puffin? I only use puffin to play pc games that I can’t play on my phone, like Animal Jam. Welp that’s all I had to say bye🤝

Not sure what happened to my review.. but anyway. Devs stated the random connection loss was fixed in this release. But it still continues to occur just as frequently as before. Only thing I've not encountered is the random freezes since this update(so thank you for that) Too long to rewrite my review. Short version, puffin used to be my most absolute favorite browser. But for a long time now, it's been problematic. I cannot write pages or posts with it because it constantly loses connection and reloads the page, losing everything I've written. (My connection is stable) Emailed support, they said they did something to address it. No different sadly. I'm very disappointed in Puffin. I cannot say it's a browser I can use that is reliable anymore. Not to mention it took away features in some past updates and never did add them back. Like the ability to manually bring a game pad on screen. Now it's limited to just flash. There were some uses with manually bringing it up for certain pages. Watching anything media related on Puffin is a chore because of the frequent page reloads and losing your progress. Surprisingly downloading a file has no issue. I miss the old Puffin...
