***Update*** I’m reducing my rating to 3 star because I can’t get past 83% complete on level 8. I don’t know if I just don’t know how to make him jump further or what it is but there is a particularly long jump that I just can’t make and I think I’ve been spiked to death about 100 times now. I’m on the verge of giving up. I can’t believe I’m so stumped at level 8. So if there’s something different I’m supposed to be doing to get my person to jump further then I’d love to know it. Really depressed because I used to love this game and play it a lot. This is so close to the Prince of Persia game I used to play. I didn’t have enough control with the “tap” control so I switched to “classic” and I’ve learnt how to use the controls with one hand. Those of you who played this in the 80’s will understand that the colours are actually better. I played my game “back then” with 3 colours and no options of any kind. This is Great! I’ve thought about this game often, especially when I download something for “the game” only to find that I have to build or decorate or merge or match or whatever for hours and hours and watch 10,000 ads, just so I can play the game I want to play just once. And that’s if the game is even offered beyond false advertising. So I’m extremely happy to have found this game because now I can play the ACTUAL GAME. Thank you so much to these developers. This is the best game I’ve downloaded so far, and I’ve downloaded a lot.
This is literal the first and only time I have ever written a review but for this game it’s worth it. It’s unfortunate because I thought I finally found “the game” that I can play for hours on end for a couple months maybe years and never get bored. As much as I love still playing this game it stinks to say this isn’t the case. After level 40 you start to learn the map after that. There’s different set ups but it’s the same traps over and over again but in a different sequence every level you advance. this game is so much potential but I few more is needed to be a 5 star game. First off add more traps. I find myself already knowing how to beat a level I have never played before because the traps repeat themselves. Second add more traps! Simple as that you can do so many things with this game besides a pressure plate and spikes and collapsible platforms you can add soooo many things to make this game better and more challenging. Third is add power ups and more things with your coins! You’re telling me for a game that can have infinite levels I can only buy 27 measly clothes? Where’s the power ups?where’s the enemies I can Slain with my level 10 sword I upgraded? And fourth and last thing that would top the cake is ADD A LEVEL MAKER!! Not every game has the ability to add a level maker because of how complex it can be but this game is simple enough to where you can have an entire community base making levels to share to everyone. There can even be a ranking system for who completed a level the quickest or who gained more coins or if enemies are added how many enemies are slain. I still play and love playing the game... but maybe only once a week because like I said it gets repetitive, but here are ideas to brainstorm? I know this is a long review but it’s more for the developer I hope they listen to their fan base for constructive criticism I would hate to see a game like this with so much potential be forgotten
It’s an amazing app and the movement is smooth. It’s entertaining and the setting of Persia adds like a reasonable state to the choice of clothing and hair. But I have two things that might make it way better, at least for me. They are so small that I didn’t want to give it a 4 and a half rating. One: Maybe you can play it horizontally so the control to move left or right can be more comfortable. Also, the spikes usually come from out of nowhere and I (probably not the only one) who does way to much. I should be more patient but it’s happened too many times. But these are what feel/experienced. It’s still a good game, and like I said, these problems are really small and didn’t stop me from putting in 5 stars. So yeah that’s my review. 5/5 would keep it alive. (Sorry).
