I have been parking with Premium one day per week for the past 12 weeks and it has been a very good experience for me. I use the app which works great and I utilize the Early Bird parking. I also use a credit card for the charges. When the time I’ve paid for is nearing expiration, I receive a text message notifying me and offering to add more time if needed. It is very easy, simple, and consistently works well for me. I’ve only had one problem, which is one day the early bird option was not setting the time correctly (only gave 2 or 3 hours for the early bird price), I secured it anyway and then called them. The girl I spoke with was very pleasant and knowledgeable and explained they were having a glitch in the system and corrected my end time immediately. I was then able to open the app and could see that the time had been adjusted. I will never hesitate to use Premium; my two cents...
This app is so easy to set up and figure out how to use. After arriving to a parking lot and seeing the informative signs to easily pay for parking was nice. Then being able to use my Apple Pay to pay for my session made the whole transaction seem less. As I searched for other lots it was very nice to see a picture of what the lot looked like to determine if I could fit or not. Overall it is an amazing app and the option to prepay for parking at a later date is so cool, just set and forget about it.
So I’ve been using this app and parking spaces for quite a while now and until this month, I was happy. For some reason, unknown to me, my license plate was changed in the app and I paid in a spot, which costed around $17 for 1 hour. Gross, yes. But when you live where I do sometimes convenience is nice. However, I go to the spot with 20 or so minutes to spare and I have a boot. Thankfully the guy is on the lot and I ask him about the issue. I show him the app and it clearly says I have 20+ minutes left. He tells me that the license plate is incorrect. How? That’s news to me. I then ask him what I need to do to get the boot off my car. He says that all he can do is reduce the charge to $50 to get the boot off. As he can see, I paid for the parking and all the other information is correct (type of car, make, color). I’m not sure why this happened and maybe I should have double checked that the license plate was correct but I haven’t had any other issues in the past while using this app. I’m very disappointed because $50 plus the $17 I already paid is not chump change for me.
