Precision Cut Archery

I’m 6 months into compound bows and still learning. The PCA app coupled with a good chrono (I’m using the LabRadar V1) produces an accurate sight tape in 3-4 arrows down range. I found the down range method rules out any of my inaccuracy trying to consistently nail a 30 yard or 60 yard mark. Is it really 30 or is it 31 or 29. And when shooting further out to 60 or 70 for a mark, is it spot on or 2-3 yards +/-? The down range method rules this out and accurately gives me a sight tape that I can then focus on shot sequence and nailing a good shot to improve. At this point I can produce an accurate sight tape in 10-15 minutes. Highly recommend PCA.

Even before this app released, PCA was the best software I’ve used for my scales and tapes and I really can’t recommend it enough. The app itself is off to a great start. Just about everything I can do on the website is available on the app. The big exception that stands out to me is the ability to calculate density altitude within the app. I’ve been upping my travel a bit lately and I used a target sight so being able to quickly adjust my scale on the fly (and offline!) would be amazing. And I know the feature is still in beta but once D30 printing is ready for public release, it’d be cool to be able to print those tapes from the app as well. Keep up the great work devs

Although it’s taken a while to get to this point, I think the wait has been well worth it. The app works seamlessly with everything I do on my computer, so I don’t have to bring my laptop out to the shop anymore. The shot solver page is so smooth and modern. I love just being able to spin the dial to a yardage, set the angle and shoot what it says. So much less messing around. My hat is off to the PCA team. Very well done. Can’t wait to see what’s next.
