Pompeii - A day in the past

Outdated, missing many of the main attractions descriptions. GPS feature only worked sporadically. Everytime you stop an audio or your phone screen locks you have to restart the audio. Very annoying

Tried to use the app while in Pompei but the GPS feature would only work for about 20 seconds and then would stop updating. Kept restarting the app and sometimes it would work for a short period but would ultimately stop updating my location. Google Maps had no problem with my location during my visit so I know it wasn’t my phone, but the app that wasn’t working right. The insight on the various locations in Pompei was ok, but wouldn’t download it again. Eventually gave up on trying to get the app to work while there.

This app looked so promising. I downloaded it at home, but when we arrived at Pompeii, we found it almost useless. In order to avoid a long line at the main gate, we decided to enter through a secondary entrance and adjust our use of the app. We spent so much time fiddling with the controls, that we realized this was ruining our enjoyment of visiting Pompeii and simply read the physical signs posted around the ruins. The photos are very beautiful.
