I love the game play of Planet Moolah, but the adds take way too long to finish and then you sit there waiting to be able to exit out of them but the desired “X” never shows up. I just sat there staring at my phone for a good 30 seconds before I finally gave up and exited out of the app altogether. I completely understand the adds and will gladly sit through them in order to play a fun and free game, but when there is no way of exiting the adds, there is no point in even trying to play the game.

The Good: If you like the Planet Moolah series then this app has a great selection of slots to play. The graphics are sharp, and the payouts are better than the majority of the casino apps that I play. There are plenty of opportunities to earn bonus money, so I’ve never even had to think about purchasing coins. The Bad: Alas, the bad is simply too bad to stay on this app when there are so many other slots apps out there. First, the standard ads. I totally get the need to have ads for other apps in games - especially when those games are free. Aside from a slight annoyance, I don’t pay a ton of attention to them. But the frequency of ads in this app are…well, ridiculous isn’t hyperbole. Every 2 spins and a new ad is popping up. Nonstop. Long commercials. And it’s not uncommon to be unable to close them out when the commercial ends, so you have to restart the app. Worse than this, though, are the pop-up ads that open whenever they want, including in the middle of reels spinning. It takes you out of the app and into Safari or Chrome or whatever browser you use, and I can’t express how annoying and frustrating this is. Instead of a little escapism and stress relief I’m looking for when I pretend gamble, I end up putting up with it for the first 3-4 times it happens and then move on to a different app. Which is a shame because I enjoy everything else about these alien cows. But they’re just not worth the frustration.

There are good and bad things about this game. The good thing is that you can watch a few ads and get a nice bank going again after you lose it all. That’s tolerable, and it is a choice you make to watch the ads. The bad thing is that an ad hijacks you when you select a new game to play every single time. Also, ads hijack you during game play, which is not tolerable. I only put up with it a few times, then close the game. If you want more game play, cut down the ads.
