Minimal control
This is a canned app that applies effects across and entire photo instead of allowing you to paint the photo with more or less details in the areas you want. I suppose for those that want instant gratification, this is OK; but, I need a dedicated and robust painting tool. An example is CleverPaint; but, its developer is apparently not supporting it in iOS12. A real shame.

Great inspiration
I have purchased most of the apps in this family and find them all to be enjoyable for manipulating photographs before I pull out my paints and put my own spin on it. Its like visual brainstorming. They are also fast to reply with questions and problems. I own both the IOS and desktop apps and have only had to contact them once, but the reply was within and hour and the problem resolved right away. Awesome apps and company. (I recommend Impresso Pro and Aquarella too.)
