Password Manager iPassSafe+

I’ve been using this APP for years and loved it! It was perfect…then someone decided to “fix it” and now it’s almost (is) unusable! First, when you click on a login item to check it out, the app closes the item automatically in half-a-second…so fast I can’t even read it. (2) I like to alphabetize my entries, and it used to do that. Now the lettered tabs are gone, and when I do alphabetize, it automatically reverts back to what ever sort (almost random) it wants to. (3). I’ve tried to write the help desk multiple times but the app doesn’t seem to actually be sending the trouble ticket, but just does nothing or freezes up. (4). This has been a minor, but ongoing issue for years. You used to be able to customize your icons for different groups, and it still offers that. However, whenever I do set up a custom icon, it never sticks…just goes back to the default. Not a big deal, but still…. Bottom line, until they fix the “automatic” close on items and the alphabetizing issues, I can’t use this!!! PLEASE FIX!! Once fixed….I’ll give it a 5 star.

I’ve had this app for years and it has always been reliable for me until now. I’m not sure what’s going on but twice now when I open the app all my saved info is gone and the app acts like I’ve never used it before. The first time this happened about two weeks ago so I retrieved what passwords I could from my phone settings and put what I could back in the app…this took a long time to do. So I have everything back saved and needed to get a password today and once again all my info is just gone and I had to start over like a new user. This is so inconvenient and time consuming and I wish whatever the issue is that’s causing the app to delete everything would be fixed! I just went back through and saved all my info again but I’m not very confident at this point that this won’t happen again. This app was so much better than any others I had tried so I wish I could recommend it but I can’t until this issue is fixed. If by some miracle someone reads this and can fix it I will update my review.

I find this app very well thought out and feature rich. As I customize categories I have found I cannot select a new icon during the customization process. When I make a selection it takes me back to previous screen and the icon for that category is blank. I am using on iPad with IOS 13.4.1. I was able to leave message for support. Will update with fix. Haven’t heard from support but found a workaround. You can share your data (password) file via AirDrop with your other Apple devices. I created the Custom Categories with the icons I wanted on my iPhone and shared to my iPad and it worked, I have the icons on the iPad. Hopefully they will resolve this, but like the AirDrop feature for backups and not having to use Cloud like other apps. Will rate 5 when fixed on iPad.
