Parkable

Our organization manages over 300 parking spaces, and unfortunately, Parkable has proven unable to handle this volume. What began as a responsive app quickly became sluggish and unreliable once scaled. Since its expansion into the U.S. market, updates to space availability lag significantly, and system responsiveness has deteriorated. As a government organization, we entered into a contract expecting scalable performance—we wish we’d known about these limitations beforehand. If you’re operating at scale, especially in a high-accountability environment, this platform may not meet your needs.

One of the most useful features in the app was removed. Please bring back the parking available notification setting. Many people in my command relied on this setting to move their cars from areas that are potential tow or ticket areas to the employee parking lot but the removal of this setting has made it very difficult to know when spaces come available during a busy workday when we can’t just sit there and watch the app for availability. Please add back.

My apartment made us switch to this app instead of a key fob to open up the gate into the parking garage. Would be super helpful and cool to be able to open the gate using the screen on the the car instead of having to pull out your phone and open the app. 🤞🏻
