Paradise Paws: Merge Animals

This is the best game to date for merge games for middle age women. It can get addictive but the games has normal play with lots of little goodie added to help you make progress. The picture you see in the game downloads is actually how the game looks. My grandson can help me make new animals and other wild things. You don’t run out of animals because they’re only sleep for like 3 seconds. The fruit grows at a perfect pace. The whole game is thought through and I appreciate the craters for making an effort to keep it alive and up dates are always adding new fun worlds which gives you so much game time you never get tired of this game. I have been playing for 2 years and have not missed a check at least once everyday! Thank you!

THE GOOD: I love this game and really appreciate the lack of ads and pop ups. You have the option to watch an occasional ad if you would like to collect a certain item but it’s discrete and does not impact game play whatsoever. They don’t push ads, it’s just a value add. You can play the game endlessly because it does not use “energy” or other modes of limiting gameplay like most other merge games. This is hands down the best part and what makes me continuously play the game. The UX is great and generally bug free with the exception of the panda tower. I love the different item categories and leveling up different strings of items, it really keeps the game interesting. THE ISSUES: The panda tower is consistently buggy and takes your tokens without giving you the items. This has happened to me several times while using the 100x multiplier and it stinks to lose that many with no reward. Some of the premium spaces are extremely expensive for a mobile app and they dont match across the game - ex: $20 for 23 tiles while another area is $25 for 61 tiles. To be clear - I like paying for games that I use frequently to help support the developers and people who work on the app as I’m in the industry as well. Ive spent $75-$100 on this game, but with the panda tower bug I’m hesitant to spend more money. If they fixed that bug or offered a refund of sorts I would be less hesitant.

I have played for over a month and have spent money. I have read other reviews and agree that having to look at the poor sad pets is beyond annoying. I am an adult and am not going to harass friends to play a game nor spend $10-$20 to unlock these pets. Ridiculous. Then, as I was writing this today, the areas that cost 50k hearts to open, which is insane to begin with, went up to 100k. No apparent reason and it’s a joke when you can earn 2 whole hearts.a day in their store watching ads. Do the math on that. So, that got me thinking that if I actually wanted to open even half of the chests that spring up ALL the time but are such “rare finds” it would cost thousands of dollars. I have talked myself out of this game which is sad because it is a fun game. Someday, maybe, these people will get that by charging reasonable prices, people will pay it and play longer and they will end up making a lot more money in the long run. It’s a simple concept.
