Papa Johns - Pizza Delivery

Love the pizza (best pizza in my area imo), but the app to order is infuriating. If you edit a pizza removing an item and adding another, the first order is great. Then in future defaults to removing to your edited pizza, but doesn’t detail it on the pizza order, so your pizza arrives with what you don’t want. Then in future orders if you try to edit the order - these items are already added or removed, so you are unable to remove something (that is already removed) and you get billed extra for a single addition that shows as a double. As a result I either get the wrong pizza order, charged the wrong amount, or spend more than an hour trying to make a correct order (sometimes just giving up). This has been going on for more than a year, and I’ve tried logging out, deleting the app and re-installing, etc. sometimes the defaults reset, but after 1 order or 1 part order and a change and the defaults are incorrect again. I have received many incorrect orders, or been charged the wrong amount, or spent a silly amount of time trying to make my order correct. The pizza (and the folks that make and deliver it) are great, but this app is really infuriating!

So when I go to the papa johns app, I started adding things to my basket. I go to checkout and they asked for my email and phone number so I type it in. It says my order went through and I would receive a confirmation email. The email never came and I waited at least ten minutes. I go back to the app and there’s no sign of my order/ me ordering anything. I decide to wait a little longer for my email to come through but nothing came. About half an hour after I thought I placed my order I place another one. Then I do get a confirmation email for my second order. But my local papa johns calls me and says I’ve placed two orders?? Please make sure your customers know wether or not they’re order has gone through. Pizza was good :)
