P5X | Persona5: The Phantom X

I heard many bad things about this game, but as someone who loves this series I had to give it a try. I played through it and had a lot of fun. I like the idea of having your social links/ confedants becoming unofficial party members. Characters are fun, music is good, story is great, and the micro transactions aren’t being forced upon you to continue the game. It’s F2P friendly. BUT my biggest problem with the game is the second boss. Up until now the battles have been fair and you have the option to choose other player’s party members in the major battles. But for some reason you are faced with a boss that literally cheats Elizabeth style and it just takes the fun away. You’re up against a boss that throws curses and attacks, inflicts brainwash on your party so they can HEAL HIM, and hides behind a stupid wall so you’re unable to attack and forced to heal your status instead of guarding his huge attacks which he begins to ATTACK AGAIN AFTER AND AAAAAAGHHHHH I really hope the devs are able to fix this fight in a patch where you can at least change the difficulty after your consecutive loss or maybe even restarting after a phase or maybe even giving us an option to use other’s party members. Also the palace you explore to even get to the boss is just plain awful. It’s a cool design but it goes on for so long with so many repetitive puzzles.

This game is actually so chill not talking about the shadows and bad stuff but like the story gameplay graphics and it’s so nice bro and this is the first ever persona 5 game I’ve ever played I’m so happy and excited when I downloaded it the first time but the problem I don’t like about this game is that on mobile like on iPad or iPhone you can’t redeem codes in this game the moderators of this game should fix it it’s really stupid why they only added that for iPad and iPhone but only works on pc they should make codes available on all devices. Also when I was fighting the shadow Miyazawa with his clones, the damage he does to my teammates is so rigged he literally ones shots like 3 of my teammates and when I get to the second round of the boss fight my allies aren’t revived there just left dead and I can’t revive them either 👎. One last thing I also like the first opening of the game it sounds so nice and sounds so brand new and it also had my favorite protagonist Joker in it👍.

I’m a big fan of p5 and the persona series in general and as much as I love this game there are some flaws big flaws. First the big issue the game crashes a lot and sometimes when it crashes you lose all your gems so if you are trying to pull a certain character you might not even get them I have had my game crash almost every 10 minutes. The game is also very buggy I honestly think they should have had the game also on consoles along with phones and steam because it’s a lot better on a machine that can handle all the graphics. This last nitpick is more of a personal preference I think the game should have had English voice acting some times the subtitles get covered by the white line on iPhones so I might miss dialogue. But on to the positives the game has a lot of charm like all persona games and the story is really good so far it is very unfortunate I can’t enjoy the story without being a certain level but whatever. The music is a real banger can’t wait to buy the soundtrack. The gameplay is a bit more watered down compared to p5 or p3 but this is a free to play game with micro transactions…… lots of micro transactions……… however the game is still very fun and enjoyable. The flare and the style of the game make up for a lot of the problems I just hope this game gets the love it deserves.
