Currently I’m learning German and the features of this app makes it easy to acquire the meaning and also context, and voice search is really good when looking for words I cannot write appropriately.
I have been using Oxford dictionaries for ages now and when I started learning German, my first choice was on this app, with no doubts. I am extremely disappointed, though, to notice that: 1) the sounds don’t work and I can’t hear the pronunciation of the words 2) some words have no IPA pronunciation (e.g. schmutzig) which is really annoying 3) when one searches for a German verb, the infinite is given (e.g. gehen) but no trace of the past and past participle, only the info that they are irregular verbs, with a link to the list of irregular verbs. This is really annoying because it takes ages to recover the past tense and the past participle of those verbs. I have given this app a 1, but I am really annoyed to have wasted £9.99 for such a rough and very approximatively designed app.
Great app
