I'm a fan of the Larousse apps. I've been using the French version for quite a while and find both very user-friendly and helpful. Especially with the conjugations. However, the German version lacks IPA pronunciations (only the English words have it). I find this strange, as the French version has IPA for both languages. Overall, this app is quite nice, and very cheap when compared to hard copy versions of the same thing.

What a disappointing piece of garbage! I get error messages as often (or more) as I do definitions. It freezes a lot and tells me that even relatively common words don't exist in the dictionary. (This is with wifi — it's not a connectivity issue.) Google Translate works better, for heaven's sake. This is the first app I've bought that has made me feel genuinely ripped off. I wish I could get a refund. I'm surprised such a respectable name is associated with this.
