Garage door is quiet, that’s a huge plus. Everything else is subpar. The signal to remote open via either garage door opener or a vehicles Built in opener (home link) is a horrible signal. You have to be right next to the garage door/opener for it to work. The app is horrible. There is no reliability to whether it works or not. Not helpful when that was a main feature of this garage opener we were looking for. I would not recommend.
This app is great…when it works. Have had this for about a year and half the time it doesn’t work. Then a week or 2 goes by and it works again. I’ve made sure My phone is on the same WiFi network but still nothing. Also get lots of online/offline notifications. Why does it go offline randomly when my internet is working fine. Very buggy app. Will be buying a second remote unfortunately. Oh and the remote is very fussy about when it will work. You have to be practically on top of the door before it will finally open after numerous clicks! Love the quietness of the garage opener but other than that the remote and the app need improvement.
What I like about this product is that you can write two garage doors to one device, saved money not having to get two devices of other brands out there. Notifications are prompt. What was difficult was getting it connected to wifi, had to go through it multiple times, get to the advanced setting and get it to work that way. I had to temporarily turn off the 5.4 GHz of our wifi system in the setup. Once connected we turned it back on and it’s working well. I’ll admit, I did get frustrated a few times to the point of wanting to return it, but persevered and got it working. It would be nice if the app would give access to advanced setting directly rather than having to go through the basic, fail and then go through incomplete instructions on how to get to advanced settings. If you’re patient in setting this up, it is a good product.
