Nudget: Spending Tracker

The very first screen tells you how wonderful the program is and has two buttons. One says “continue” The other “Leave a review.” No matter how many times you press continue nothing happens. If you try to push that screen to the bottom you briefly see the operating screen but then the initial splash screen pops back up. The only button that works? Leave a review works. So here is my review. I hope the developers are happy with it … but I doubt that’s the case. UPDATE: The problem was fixed in the latest update and the program seems to be working now. Although I’ve only had a short time to work with the app I find it easy to use and quite sufficient for its purpose of keeping track of your spending (and income - though as a retired person my income is far less frequent than a person who is regularly employed). I’ve upgraded my review to 4 stars.

I had been debating buying this app for a while and I finally did. Overall the app is pretty good. I like the simplicity and I like that I get to input my own transactions and other info. The only reason I’m not giving the app the full 5 stars is because of the FAQ section and the customer service. I understand this is a smaller/newer app which is why there isn’t a lot of info in the FAQ section… But I’ve been trying to figure out to reset the app for a few weeks now and I can’t find. I also haven’t heard back from customer service… And I’ve contacted them twice through the contact section in the app

Nudget is an app built with simplicity, speed, and usability in mind. The interface is intuitive and relatively easy to understand. Adding expenses takes only a few seconds, making budgeting simpler than the alternative of having to spend hours on documenting your every purchase. Tags make Nudget extremely powerful with the option to both sort by tags and use tags to determine useful information, like what item category is costing you the most. These tools help make budgeting with Nudget a breeze. Additionally, there are some sweet widgets that can help provide quick information regarding your expenses and ways that you can perhaps budget your expenses. As a final note, Nudget does not collect your personal data, unlike it’s many competitors, so you can rest assured that the financial information that you are saving in Nudget is confidential.
