Night Light Lite Nightlight

I don’t know about any of you but when I finally get to bed whether its at 9:30pm or 12pm you know I sometimes get up like five times before I actually pass out. Whether its to get water or I need to pee or maybe even put my hair in a ponytail cuz it’s bothering me. Using this app helps me see in the dark once I’ve turned out the light to do those things! Also with the timer add on I don’t even have to worry about my phone running the app all night! I can just set it for 45 minutes or however long and then fall asleep with it turning itself off. One thing I will say though is the colors you have to choose from are sort of bright. The purple isn’t as bad if you set the screen brightness to low or medium. For those of you teens who are up late and need a way to have some light this ones for you!!

Over the year I’ve been struggling with insomnia, this has worked better than melatonin tablets or other apps (both alternatives that work, but not as well). The color settings are customizable enough to fit many different preferences, which is definitely a good thing. However, my one complaint is that the sounds, which are sometimes more important than the colors, aren’t free, and most of the free options aren’t as effective. Maybe you could have the user pick three or four different ones for free when you first download the app, so that they have sounds that are more likely to help them sleep, and they can buy the rest if they want? Besides that small complaint, this app works really well. Would and have recommended!

...especially for those early hours when I can’t sleep but don’t want to turn on bright bedroom lights. I also like the nature sounds setting to relax to as I finally drift off. I battle chronic insomnia as a result of Fibromyalgia, spinal cord damage and all over nerve damage and neuropathy, and though I have medicine that’s supposed to help me fall asleep and soothe the pain during sleep, sometimes the pain is too much. The gentle sounds and a softer nightlight of this app aids in calming me a little, even if I can’t fall asleep. Thank you very much to the developers for a simple app that works. And no, I haven’t been paid or otherwise enticed to write a review. This is my own personal experience with this app over a year’s use.
