Screen Light Color

This app is the perfect app for a flashlight! Like no joke it won’t turn off if you leave it alone! It is so much fun when you first get it and you start playing around with different colors. Do note that if you want to save specific colors you need to pay 2.99 a month, but if you don’t care too much about that then this app is for you!

I’d have to give this game a five star rating. My issues with it are few and far between. My only problem is touch sensitivity, and how difficult it may be to find the exact color again. When you touch it, it moves. Other than that, it’s a wonderful experience that makes finding colors both fun and visually interesting. The visual aids of true color wheel, and bar at the top help with finding different colors. All with unique names and the addition of their shade, and saturation given in numbers. The setting with hue sliders is the cherry on top. You can find the hex codes easily and make your own colors with exceeding ease. Where the main setting may be fun, this is functional. Overall, a great app. Wonderful and conscious design, very user friendly, visually stimulating, and aesthetically pleasing. Great job!

My primary use case is to use this a light box for scanning film (slides and negatives) using my iPhone. It will work fine for this. However it would be nice if it also supported Split View. I’d like to be able to use it to fill one side with a neutral color while reading something (ebook, web article) on the other side. I usually have my iPad Pro 12.9” with Magic Keyboard on my desk, and it feels more natural to me to have the reading side in portrait mode (or at least square) than to have 2 columns or one really wide and difficult to read column (with no ability to control the margins, typically). As it is, I’ll probably try to find another app that fulfills these use cases and also supports tracing use case.
