I’m a Vegas local and I’d heard about Neon Feast so I downloaded the app, only to find a bunch of buddies reviewing their friends’ restaurants without any discernment. The “reviews” are more like a paid promotion. Then, I saw the commercial of the guys who created the app saying, “reviews from people who actually know what they’re talking about,” and “like Yelp, without the idiots!” So…basically anyone who isn’t a chef or food critic doesn’t know anything about food and their opinions are irrelevant? Cool, cool - great job insulting all your potential users. Sounds like the restaurateurs who created the app got their feelings hurt when people wrote real reviews of their restaurants and they’d rather have an echo chamber filled with their own nonsense. …but I guess my app review shouldn’t matter because I didn’t build the App Store.
It’s easy to use and so helpful to have a group of folks that understand vegas and love vegas give true opinions about what is awesome. Def will use every time I am there.
Super handy and easy to use. Great to have when you look for food options. Easy to navigate and easy to search.
