NDI Capture: Screen Sharing

Used this in our broadcasting space that’s all NDI and we use an NDI Server. Connecting to the wifi and using both UDP and TCP did not work, the source would be visible in our list but could not actually view the screen. When inputting the NDI Server, the iphone no longer shows up on our sources. Finally, turning off cellular in app settings, connecting an Ethernet cable to the iPhone, and inputting the discovery server (UDP or TCP) worked and the source was visible and smooth. I wish I didn’t have to connect an Ethernet cord but there could also be other factors that I’m not aware of.

Poor Performance for a great Idea, I’m tried it with 260 Mbps down and 29 Mbps up, the app has lag and stuttering to the point that it’s not usable at all, I will not recommend to use this to do any streaming too expensive and it doesn’t deliver what they offer. Your battery will drains so fast that you won’t be able to use this app for more than and hour without have to recharge which is an inconvenient. You Better buy “Shoot - camera fees” cheap and reliable as the connection is made through your logging cable, I have use it for 2 iPhones as cameras as the same time and works perfect, you will gain so much screen view without being concern about performance issues, highly recommended.

I really wish this was more stable. I love the app idea and it works for a solid 2 minutes then almost inevitably fails. I found the NDI source on wirecast and it works great, but 2-3 minutes in, it drops every time. I wish I could use this app for more than 2 minutes. Not sure what I need to do.
