The ease and sheer pleasure of ordering online from my home in the USA for family at home in the Uk is amazing. I’m assured of excellent quality and a plethora of products combined with great customer service . I’m delighted to be able to access my favourite store from the comfort of my home abroad.
But not the store you actually need. M&S has also food only stores, not just full blown department stores. I wanted to find a M&S store with a Men’s Apparel department. This app doesn’t allow you to lookup stores that have more than just food or by available department. You cannot even scroll the map and do a “search here”. So if you are near an M&S only Food next to you, that’s the only (one!) it will show you. The feature should be called “store nearest to you” and not “search for a store”. Because you really can’t. The search requires you to know the name of the area where the store is located. As a visiting tourist in London this app “Store search” is quite useless.
After all the publicity, time pressure, (7 hours left!) text messages of a 50% discount being told that as a Spark privileged customer the discount would be automatically applied at the end; then you get to the end “Surprise!!” No discount. Not this item but also not clear which item if any !!! One does not expect this from a reputable firm. I know I can return them but who recompenses me for all the time I was being mislead!? Not good
SHOP M&S WITH EASE Make shopping for your favourite M&S products easier than ever, whether you're at home, on the go, or in store, with the M&S app....
