I enjoy the game and it is a good game overall. The main issue is with the poor translation, as it is difficult in some places to understand and appears to have been machine translated, with numerous errors in pronouns that appear to be due to a poor machine translation algorithm, and it actually has a negative effect on gameplay; some of the questions for the entrance exams and "Smart Brains" minigame are completely incoherent, or include Chinese characters in the English version, and some of the "correct" answers are actually incorrect, or the one that is correct in reality is absent (e.g. the mass of the Pyramid of Khufu is 5.9 metric tonnes, but that is not an option). Additionally, it does suffer from some bugs (my entire game froze if I opened the profession tab when my character was an archaeologist, and the game does not appear to correctly consider the number of rooms in a rented property when trying for a baby), and things like the farm mechanic could have more information included about how it works, and I think the Trading Coop shouldn't have orders that are impossible to fulfill in a given village. I would also like to see more professions eventually, too. Overall though, I definitely enjoy it.
This is a great game, wonderful for passing time. I like it for the most part, enough to buy the no ads IAP, but there are a few things that bother me. >>>>It would be great to have some sort of official platform for international players. There is a QQ number in game, but I don’t use QQ and I can’t imagine that a lot of international players do. >>>>There are a few typos or even mistakes/wrong answers in tests or life prompts in general. This leads me to the next problem. >>>>There is a feedback system, but there is a character limit to what you type in the feedback box. I believe the limit is 60 characters. For players like me who use English, this limit isn’t even enough for an entire detailed sentence. Every time I want to make notice of a typo, I can’t really fit it all into one message. >>>>The home system is extremely bad, or I’m just doing something wrong. If you are clueless, it is possible for you to marry and have children in this game. It seems that I’m stuck at only one child though, which makes absolutely no sense considering I’ve checked the rented house multiple times (some of these houses have 6 rooms and space for 15 working people!) But every time I try to have a second child, I get the notice saying there is not enough room for another child. I tried putting this in the feedback box (to no avail). >>>>Do player feedback even get looked at?
Love the game I’ve played Ancient Life (still do lol) and I notice a couple of similarities in regards to game layout which I think is a nice nod to both games. I enjoy the fact that we can dress our characters up in clothes and the characters will actually wear those clothes. I would love it if we could have a little (lot) more drama. What kind of drama? I will leave that up to you dear developers to decide. It would also be cool if we could do a couple other side ventures like: write a book and how our books sell would by based on a five star rating, risky book combos (like setting and story) would immediately give us 2 stars or 4 stars depending on the success rate. Be a taxi driver and have a five star rating system that would determine how many customers we could get. Last thing, I would love it if during school we could have an option to talk and befriend our classmates, sometimes I feel like my character is the only person attending that school lol.About the driving test: Okay so it took me a while to pass the drivers test, but here’s the trick: you have to park the car in reverse. So instead of just pulling up into the parking space turn the car around and back into the space, then wait those three seconds and drive to exit and viola you pass. About having more than one kid: In regards to the have more kids get a bigger house, I have no clue. I assume I’m misreading the English translation like I did with the drivers test, but honestly I’m not sure what it could be. I’ll keep trying though hopefully someone else will share what they did to have more than one kid.
