MN on a Stick

This is the best app ever. As someone who only gets to the fair once a year and is overwhelmed by trying to navigate how large it is this is a game changer. We loved this and it made it sooooo easy to see what was near us on our wish list. One idea… we all hear about how everyone rates the food sooo why not implement this into the app! A rating system would be soooo fun and helpful. Could even through a cute theme to the ratings (instead of 5/5 stars you could do 5/5 corn dogs, corn cobs, MN on a sticks, etc to theme it up). This way the fair goers can share their thoughts and maybe even some photos. This would also add the option to have a “best rated” category.

I saw someone post about this app on Reddit. I’ve tried using the official state fair app before but it was sort of glitchy. I figured this app is free, why not give it a shot? It worked PERFECTLY! I was able to favorite any food stands I wanted to try before getting to the fair. Once I was there, I opened the app and chose which one of the stands I had favorited. Then, it opened an interactive map and showed where I was and where the stand was located and gave me directions. It was great!! And it isn’t just for food stands either, you can find anything on it! I used it multiple times throughout the day, my friends were asking about it as well because it made navigating the fair so much less stressful. I will definitely be using this again in the years to come

Before I give my wish for an enhancement, I just want to say how much I love this app. I go to the fair 8 to 9 times a year and while I know where everything is, I love being able to mark things that I want to make sure get consumed during the fair. Because there's just so much to eat and sometimes you forget about something that you really wanted to get because you didn't have it on a list. That being said, my wish for a future enhancement would be the ability to plan out what food you want to consume on a given day. So instead of just having a big wish list, be able to chunk it out into day one, day two and so on so that there is an option to do a little bit of menu planning to make sure you can spread out all the food. Thank you so much for creating this! Total game changer!
