This app really is too good to share! Unfortunately, I’m a sucker at heart so I have shared and recommended this app to many Lego fans. Usually while I’m shopping for mini figures in Kohl’s or Walmart and I see a young Lego fan hoping that this time they will get the character they have been wanting. After helping them to find what they seek, I let their parents in on the secret. This app has helped many a brick head, both young and old😊 The app is fast and accurate. I wanna say it’s the best app on the market, but I have nothing to compare it to because this was the first mini figure app I tried and I never felt the need to look any further. Once you find something awesome the search is done. Thank you for making such a great and reliable mini figure scanner 😊😊😊
This is exactly what we shouldn’t be doing. This creates fake scarcity and whomever goes and buys all the most wanted fig will - as they already have - hoard them and sell them at a premium later. Huge error in judgement, and for what? So people can avoid spending $5 to okay a game of chance that was always standard with minifigs. You guys ARE the problem. *update* after receiving a cowardly response from the developer I feel it’s essential to add this: if you create a way to hoard an item from a brand who practices artificial scarcity and has never had a series where one or two figures weren’t already extremely hard to get this does NOT solve anything. This causes an even bigger problem. When you make opportunism easier it encourages MORE people to do it, not less. These people are under the impression the world of LEGO, which has one of the most aggressive aftermarket’s of any collectible, is all roses and sunshine. It’s not and you’ve actively participated in making it worse. A single glance at bricklink, Mercari and eBay will show you the truth. LEGO is in NO WAY ok with this and every user of this is absolutely cheating. The Minifigure releases are predicated on card packs which by nature are blind. How would you feel if people were able to scan all the fleer ultras and upper decks? That would be cheating and you all admit it, yet here we are.
I recently went on a hunt at a Lego store with a gift in mind for my son. He had his heart set on a specific Mini fig. Due to the sale’s gimmick of every figure packaged as a mystery and thus sold separately, it would have normally cost me a lot of time and money on the off chance I luck into finding the one I’m looking for. Enter Minifig Scan. A friend of mine told me about this app so I downloaded it and gave it a go while at the store. The staff didn’t mind when I scanned several Minifigure barcodes. Some of them downright encouraged it. I ended up buying 4 figures. When I got home, I double checked and all 4 were exact matches. The app worked flawlessly! I carefully resealed everything so that when my son opens the boxes they will still be a complete surprise to him!Added bonus, the app is free. Highly recommended for gift givers and collectors alike.
