Meta Horizon

I am happy that is it easy to follow people, but I was in a community and someone called us the N-word so I defended them saying “respectfully, kill yourself” I didn’t think they would take that too seriously because a lot of people say that nowadays even my friend says it and he’s younger than me and I got banned for 24 hours right and then after that after the 24 hours, it said I couldn’t chat still, but it said “you can’t chat for…” and after those three dots should’ve been the amount of time for example seven hours and there was no time there so that means my time was over but I still couldn’t call or text anyone. Please fix this. It’s also very glitchy with the name system like on Facemoji keyboard it is an app where you can use different special emojis and I tried using the emojis one time and it wouldn’t let me and then I tried putting numbers in my name, but it wouldn’t let me do that either. I know this is very long. I recommended Meta Horizon if you’re looking to follow people easily, but just be careful with it. Oh, and also every time I call my friends and I go out of the app. It always hangs up the call so I have to join it back and my friends always think that I left the call on purpose and maybe there is something that Meta Horizon can do to fix it? And please un ban me because I’ve been waiting for a few hours now and it hasn’t worked and I can’t call my friend or anything and she’s probably wondering why I can’t talk to her. I just today opened the Meta Horizon app on my phone to change my avatar’s background, and not only was it completely gone, but I didn’t find a way to access it or the change background feature anywhere on the app! It’s bad enough that for no good reason you made it so we can’t create new clothes for our avatars on Instagram anymore, and all we ever have had in the way of jewelry is earrings and no other jewelry, e. g rings, it’s bad enough that the accessories other than hats and headbands are gone, e. g we only can choose solid colors for our headgear, and not multicolored designs and no patterns, and things like flowers for our avatar’s hair never have existed, but the change background feature has not even existed for very long at all, now it’s completely gone! Long story as short as possible, please take every single issue that I have mentioned in this review, including the change background feature, and bring it back, and add all the other things I mentioned above, making the avatar feature in general, better than ever! Furthermore, I would also very much appreciate it if you made these changes very soon, and did not change them back! Btw, I would really appreciate it if you responded to my review very soon! Thank you!

I’ve had issues in the past with this app, when the whole Facebook Meta and Oculus merge happened, my whole headset didn’t work. I would go to the home screen and it would show that I had almost half of the system storage full because of “Unknown source.” Obviously the apps that I had bought and previously installed, but they were nowhere to be found. I tried going to the app, but it had signed me out. When I signed back into my account, the app would freeze and then crash. It took me months to figure out I had to create a new account, and lose the $100+ dollars worth of games so that I could buy and play them again. It was a problem that most people had, and yes, I was just stupid and didn’t take the time to google why this had happened, but what frustrated me the most is that I wasn’t notified, I wasn’t told that this merge and user data reset was happening. The app is okay now but casting to it gives lag and awful graphics. When I record myself playing a game with the built-in microphone, the audio is about one second delayed, which annoys me, and cannot be changed using video editing software. I don’t use it a lot, I just check the store and notifications via my headset, which works just fine for me. What I like about it the most is that once you use it to set up your Oculus headset, you don’t really need it. The games and V.R. things function just as fine without it, the only thing you really need it for is after you’ve synced a video from your headset to the app. Over all, 4 stars.
