MARTI: TAG & Scooter

In order to start using the app to ride a scooter you first need to verify your profile. The verification, however, doesn’t seem to work at all if you’re not a Turkish citizen. They have a form where you can upload your passport photo and information but after trying for at least twenty times in the past two weeks, I am still unable to verify my profile. The same error message shows every time. I notified their support about my issue but got only a one line response in return: “upload passport in app”. They didn’t even try to understand my issue or offer any helpful advice. And now they don’t answer my follow-up emails. Save yourself the trouble and use other user-friendly scooter services available in Istanbul (hint: the red ones and yellow ones are great and very easy to use).

I don’t usually write reviews as I don’t get enough time to do so, but have to admit, Marti’s customer support staff is absolutely the nicest out there, I had an issue with a scooter that wasn’t working properly, literally after a minute of sending a feedback to them, they called me regarding that issue and immediately offered a refund, this is the way a business should be working like, Marti’s might not be the quickest scooters out there, but it definitely has the most friendly and English - speaking staff and that’s what matters the most to us non Turkish residents / tourist.

First of all it's fun service to have in a beautiful crowded city of İstanbul but the problem is that you point out to people about the wrong parking fee and other few things and how the customer would have to pay a fee of hugely exaggerated price if he accidently break or damage the scooter second of all that price of 9000 turkish liras could buy three XİAOMİ scooters which are more reliable than the ones you guys offering in your service. Last of all the scooters you have are in a TERRİBLE condition and they are moments away from breaking in the hands of any innocent customer and eventually will blamed for it by you guys. And one more last thing, İf it breaks while being Used by someone in the traffic they will get really hurt and there is no one else but your company to blame.
