Marriage 365

I purchased a membership a few months ago. I’m divorced and in a relationship and realizing just how difficult it is to navigate all the difficulties and complications that go along with blending two families together after divorce. I have watched a lot of the videos, alone and with with my current partner, and both of us have learned a lot about ourselves, each other, what we should be thinking about before getting married, how to navigate the intricacies of becoming step parents to each others kids, etc. This app has it all. So many different topics for any person on the path of marriage, whether you’re seriously dating someone or married for 50 years, and any topic you could imagine that needs addressing. And each video or course has actionable items to actually work towards bettering yourself and your marriage. It is so worth the money of the annual membership.

I’ve followed marriage 365 on instagram for a few years and made the jump to their monthly subscription and watched a few videos here and there. I stopped using the subscription service but still followed their teachings on instagram. Last November I purchased the yearly subscription and again only dabbled a bit. Just yesterday after a particularly difficult conversation with my husband of 3 years (together 10 years) I realized how dire change needed to happen and how I need to prioritize working on myself and our marriage. I’ve been in personal therapy for just over a year and in couples therapy with my husband for a few months. We’re not bad people, just people stuck in bad patterns. This app is so helpful in the fact that they have SO much content and it’s relatable and easy to watch. More importantly Casey and Meygan have actionable steps to put a plan into action and really dive deep into healing. Even though they don’t know each member individually it almost feels that way and there’s no judgment. I’m making the commitment to myself and my husband to take 30 minutes each day to watch some videos and work on the worksheets. I can’t wait to see the change this will have in my marriage.

I love this app!! I made a marriage promise to my husband 38 years ago and I intend to keep it. But I didn’t know it could be so hard! We both come from divorced parents so I have learned we entered marriage with a lot of love and very few skills. I have been to counseling multiple times over the years as we struggle, but it’s expensive, my husband hated it and won’t go back, and so I went alone and left so many expensive hours with so few tools. I remember asking, “Please tell me what I am doing wrong and how to do it better!” I did get several concrete suggestions, but needed so much more than that. Then I ran across the marriage 365 app. For what I paid for one counseling session I have access to unlimited videos and worksheets that I can do myself whenever I want for a year. It’s literally an answered prayer. I have been working alone for about 3 months and my husband noticed the change and thanked me. So, for my birthday I asked and he agreed to join me for 6 videos! My eyes have been opened to what I do wrong and I have concrete templates to fill in the blank and read off to help me communicate better and change. All I have to do is be humble, have some courage and keep watching videos. It is amazing how much resentment has already left my heart and how I can see my husband now with so much more love and forgiveness – just because I changed. The app is supported with an Instagram account that Meygan and Casey post and take/ give comments on which gives you a marriage support community. And you can always get personalized counseling through their app for an additional fee if you want more. They are very honest with their own struggles and are so much fun to watch. They have thought of everything. Just do it!!
