I started to cross stitch about 10 years ago but would get so frustrated with missed counts from looking at tiny paper patterns and then having to rip out so many stitches, so i stopped after a couple years. This app was truly pivotal in getting me back to cross stitch last year. Let alone the insanely amazing functionality of looking at and marking up your pattern once you have it uploaded, the ability to upload from not just perfect PDF files, but also images, is top notch. The customer support also by James should truly be commended. The website for this app has a tab where you can send in a pattern you are having trouble with and he will give you tips and tricks to get it into a working pattern to markup. Truly can’t say enough about the customer service. There is only one drawback I have at the moment with the app and that is it does not sync (automatically, without copying and pasting a static zip file) from iPhone to iPad, but I can get by without this feature given I can just zoom in more on my iphone to see more detail, which is the way I primarily use this app. The annual fee is well worth the usability and many features of this app. Highly recommend.

This is an excellent alternative for Pattern Keeper! I honestly like it better. All of my devices are Apple and PK isn’t available on any of them so I had to find something new for my projects. This is by far the best option! Customer service is stellar and while the app can be buggy when importing your patterns ONCE in awhile, customer service has fixed the issue for me within hours each time. (It’s only happened to me twice and with patterns that I purchased from a pattern website.) The only other minor issue I’ve experienced is, in my current project, one of the colors is showing up twice, same symbol, but different selection, so when I’m working that color, I have to make sure the right one is selected in order for the section I’m working on to be highlighted. Not a big deal to keep. The convenience and seamlessness of this app trumps any of the very minor inconveniences all day long. I highly recommend this app if you enjoy cross stitch! It will change your stitching life!

There is no way I’d have become a full coverage cross stitcher without this app. It has so many options and features to make it a true pleasure to do this style of cross stitch in whatever way works best for you. There is a bit of a learning curve depending on what features you want to use, and depending on where your chart is from. But it’s worth it, and I have found the customer service to be incredibly fast and responsive - they are very active on social media, and also easily accessible via email. When I had issues with floss colors not importing correctly to match chart symbols they literally set up the file for me, as well as pointing me to the resources I could use to fix it myself if it happened again in the future. Truly above and beyond! I really love that they are listening to their customers and continuing to improve and update the app.
