Manga Reader Plus - Japan Zone

I opened the app, answered the questions, and then was unable to proceed with my review due to a paywall. There is no trial, no display available to see what’s in the catalog, no information at all. As I cannot use the app at all I’d give it a 0/5 as it stands right now. If they add a “guest” option to see the catalog or a 7-14 day free trial period, I’d be open to reviewing it again, but in this state it is unusable for the fiscally responsible user. Very disappointing and the developer should be ashamed at such a lack of transparency, hopefully they will change it, but seeing as many reviewers have said the same thing, I doubt it. One review stated they were locked out of their lifetime access due to a glitch or bug on the developers part, and the developer merely responded with “thanks for your feedback” which is not only disgusting, but concerning. I’d be very wary of this app unless the developers ethics and morals change.

App freezes to much kicks you out it’s a good app lots to read but to many bugs hope you can fix it

(idk how to make the the rating a 4.5 but it’s there, on mobile) The app is a rather good so far compared to a lot of others, not my go to(yet), but is quickly becoming better as time goes. The feedback main feedback I would have is make updates more noticeable on the favorites page, add a red dot to the left of the name or something so people can tell it’s been updated. So anyone who is busy and unable to read it instantly once it updates can come back to it and say “oh right this updated, I can finally read it!” Second, a small amount of the manwha/manhua/manga aren’t fully updated and missing a few chapters that other reading apps have. I’m sure that’s going to change soon so not a big worry for those who are reading a rather long series, but definitely something to look into. Sadly not all new series appear on this app but again, I’m sure that’s going to change. Final feedback would have to be fix some loading issues. When reading a manwha, I noticed that when reading in the scroll(top to bottom) setting, some pages would not load properly and would either just disappear or load but would cause other pages to start loading again causing me to jump back and forth between them and being a never ending cycle of loading and reloading pages. That’s all I have, like I said. The app is good, close to being great. All in due time I suppose.
