The Load Map green dots don’t update every morning, on the weekends would be very helpful. Also, Im not sure dispatch uses who’s 1st, since I see trucks near me disappear before me and I’m on 1st place. The inspection is listed on the Qualcomm It’s confusing to have it in both places. Since they don’t sync with each other. The red dots, its useless, how can I be sitting for 48hrs and they are red dots all around me……. I think this should be loads that were lost because no trucks around to fulfill, not because we sent a quote to a broker and didn’t get it, which I believe its the way it works now not sure. Overall this is a great working tool for drivers, all you need to make it excellent is a load board were drivers can choose loads. :)
I like this app a lot but it sometimes can be frustrating because sometimes submitting paperwork or indicating arrival/emptied can be a shot in the dark. Even tho the app indicates uploads were successful, it doesn’t always register with the home office so sometimes we get Qualcomm or free form messages that this info has not been received when indeed it has been submitted. A little frustrating for the driver & it takes time from other tasks the dispatchers or other staff could be doing. Also, the Home Screen seems to change so that not ALL of the phone numbers for the branch offices appear. The main number does tho. This is a small issue when we are booked on loads thru dispatchers in other offices other than Taylor, MI. If the other offices are not programmed into your phone then you must call in to the main number to get the number you need.
The only bugs I see are when you upload paperwork sometimes it’s not registering that you’ve already done it..Also if the drivers phone is running a VPN your map doesn’t seem to quite catch up you may want to instruct drivers to turn the VPN off when moving . Also I don’t understand why you can shoot us a quote and we not get the load this makes for a disgruntled employee eventually if like today you sent me for quotes and I got to go and none of them. Surely there’s a way to have our customers book the load after receiving a phone call from an agent and make it first come first serve I believe this app could keep you from having to hire so many people and Dispatch or maybe somebody in Dispatch hunts loads only and we guarantee a 80% book rate with a two hour notice if we can’t the only time Dispatch should be calling me is if nobody wants to take itAnd then we need to negotiate as to why this would create less overhead and give you more room to hire more drivers and have more equipment
