Live Translator: Translate App

While I generally like the app the volume of the speaker is too low. Even with my iPhone 8 Plus turned all the way up. I sent the support folks an email but haven't had any response. It’s very annoying since their promo shows a waitress in a real time conversation with a client. The volume is way to low for this to ever work. Until they can fix this do not waste you money.

Yes. What is it with the translated text disappearing in seconds? No one would be able to read it. And this for $20? I also notice that it takes longer for the subjunctive tense to be translated. Ah. I found the toggle in settings, and it works well. So never mind the first part of my part of my rant. I do notice that some like Persian does not give a vocal response.

I just installed the app for using to translate in a meeting. The sensitivity depends on your phone and the location the speaker is to the phone. In my case, an iPhone 7S+ does not do too well in a moderately noisy environment (air conditioning, background music, etc.) I will try with a microphone and see how it works. I find the response time to a few spoken sentences quit quick (5 seconds) on 4G. I have found the English to Spanish at 100% and the Spanish to English at maybe 75%. Dialect and slang matters I think. Overall I am quite happy with the app. Thanks for developing it!
