Purchased the updated level pro with the on/off switch and turn the unit off when motorhome is parked. After I have set the level pro to zero it works fine till I turn it off and it forgets the settings. Paid a lot of money for this not to have it save the settings. This makes the unit kind of useless. I have to set it at home and leave it on so when I get to the campground it works. Please fix this problem and offer a recall replacement.

I purchased the Level Mate Pro in the spring of 2019. Set it up per the instructions and was very happy using it all of 2019. Went to level the trailer for Memorial Day weekend 2020 and the app forced me to accept an update or it wouldn’t allow me to level my trailer. Auto-update is set to “off” on my phone so not sure how it updated? Anyways, I agreed to the new terms so I could level my trailer, and the app now requires gps location or it won’t show the level status. It worked great all of 2019 without tracking my location. There is NO NEED to know user location - you WANT our location for your benefit, not to benefit the user. There is no feature that justifies forcibly tracking my location so I can level my trailer, especially with hardware you sold me to do only that. It still works great, now it’s just another data mining app like all the others. Not cool developers, not cool. One star for greed. I’ve recommended this to many people in the past year because it leveled my trailer quickly and accurately. It still does that, only if you consent to providing your location. There are plenty of consumers that are ok with giving out information to apps. I’ll sell mine and look for another leveling solution.

This product would be the bomb if it worked. I bought this product with the Andersen leveling blocks over the winter. The combination of these two products should make leveling a trailer a one-person, one-step process. Last weekend, we took our first trip of the season. The Andersen blocks are wonderful...highly recommended. The set-up for the LevelMatePro app was very easy and the install of the hardware was very easy. I even installed the unit in the front of the trailer for best connection, as recommended. Unfortunately, from the driver's seat of the pickup, I could not get a reliable connection. This is sad because it is not a far distance at all. It would connect and give me a reading. I would then adjust the trailer. I would then have to shut down the app and restart. After a minute or two, I could read the settings and make another adjustment of the trailer. Shut-down the app, restart, wait, repeat. Over and over again. Not what I paid $140 for. I really hope it's a simple app upgrade or they need to work out the bugs. I am running the app on an iPhone 7. Sadly, I think this was just an expensive lesson for me.
