I like how there’s actually apps that you can learn Serbian on and my whole family speaks this language so this is amazing! :D

I wanted to like the app, but there were 2 big things that prevented me from giving it more than 1 star. 1) the number of ads. I am not going to watch an ad, especially a 15-30 second un-skippable ad, before doing every 1 minute unit. 2) the audio is not useful. It is clearly a computer reading the text, in English. How do I know? Because doing the alphabet unit, it said “Cyrillic letter A.” When it read “један” (jedan, meaning one), the pronunciation it gave was “Yie-oh-den” (actual pronunciation: “yeh-dahn”) Based on what I saw, I’m not going to waste my time watching ads for short lessons of questionable quality, and I’m definitely not paying $5 to unlock the ad free setting. I don’t know who made this, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t speak Serbian, and just plugged a format they use for other languages into Google Translate. Because of that, I don’t know if trust it to actually teach the language correctly. If you want good Serbian apps, check out Lengo, Drops or the other dozen apps on the App Store.
