Ok, I totally think this app is amazing. Why it is amazing is because I already memorized things by going over them in multiple different ways, instead of one way. I recommend if you’re learning on your own to write things down in a notebook and practice your handwriting and making other fun ways to make use of words. Another reason is because it gives you an option not to see the word, which I’m not going to use but it may be helpful for some. Also, you do need to wait ten hours before another five minutes lesson, therefore I recommend you use a mix of sources, like Mango, Remember and yes, Duolingo. Mango is a good way to learn at your own pace. Remember has a widget that gives you a word of the day and has tons of words you can practice. Duolingo helps you learn to put words into a sentence but cannot make you fluent. None of these can make you fluent. I also recommend using books and music.
I like this way of learning, a new language I like how it also pronunciation the words for me. At the same time it shows a picture, and it shows me in English how the word would be pronounced, as well as the Hebrew letters with it. I think it’s a very effective way to learn a language and although I don’t have the premium right now I just because I don’t wanna pay the $69 that’s a little bit steep for me but if I had the extra money I would because the great program but the free one is pretty cool too. You just don’t get to do as much every day you get very very small little bits of lessons, not a full huge lesson but that’s OK cause little by little you’re still learning it anyways and it’s free so you can’t really complain! I’m all about free!
I searched through all the Hebrew learning apps and for me this app mops the the floor I can’t see the competition. This app takes up all my Hebrew learning time and I’m attending an online school but I’m a plumber on the go and this app helps me to keep learning on the go through the day. I like the drops of education, it really helps me to study in small amounts through out the day so I can keep learning Hebrew words, alphabet(אב), numbers, colors, travel phrases etc. it’s just fun and motivating to keep you from falling off the learning wagon. Try the free stuff but I recommend you eventually buy the lifetime subscription it’s the best offer if you’re going to pay. I give this app 5 🌟 I back to a second time to say even after months of use I’m still very happy with my premium purchase and continued education in Hebrew.
