Hi 👋 lastfm is such a good app 😌 i remeber when i was listening to chicken little it tracked all of my stats and its so good 😊 because i have chicken 🐔 little fun fact im actually friends with chicken little and he told me that he would download lastfm one day because he heard how good 😌 ot is but then he got in a car 🚘 crash 💥 with a guy named joe who was 😯 driving in the middle lane of the highway 🛣️ with his wife 😡 and then i saw chiken little in the hospital because he was injured 🤕 and he told me hey can you pull up lastfm on your phone i wanna see stats and im likr yesh sure man then he died so this is why lastfm is more than a app and its the best app ever 😊 fly high chicken 🐔 little🕊️i miss you my boy

I got the app because I wanted to track my listening (I use Apple Music). Despite the low reviews, I figured I’d try it. This app is SO inaccurate in tracking scrobbles!!!! Not only do many of my scrobbles get completely missed (despite the fact that I listened to the songs all the way through), fuere are many times when my scrobbles for multiple different songs all get attributed to one song!!!! I used to love lastfm because I liked to see my listening data, but with how inaccurate it is, it’s more frustrating than anything. Might as well just quit lastfm all together at this point. Very disappointing!!!!

It’s really sad to see this happen, and it’s over one really horrible idea that I genuinely have no clue who thought it was good. The issue is that you get animated album covers in your list of scrobbles, and it’s a cool update, if it didn’t completely crash the app everytime you try to open it. But hey! What if they have a setting to disable that, it would solve all the issues! Well you’re out of luck, I wouldn’t even know if there is a setting because the app is completely dysfunctional the moment you open it and crashes within 10 seconds, or 20 if you’re on low power mode. Please remove this or find a way to optimize it for devices. And if anyone’s curious, I have an iPhone 13, so it’s not a crappy device that’s the issue here.
