Jyve!

I was led to believe that this app was beneficial and is one of the top job apps , however that is not true you are supposed to get paid after completing each assignment or by every Friday no later. I still have not once been paid out in time. I’m constantly just sitting and waiting to be paid out and nothing and there’s no one to talk to u have to send out an email and hope they reach out to you in time to be paid out it’s just ridiculous what I have to go through. If u are late though they will reach out to u immediately but not pay u immediately.

This app is way better than similar apps that I’m familiar with. The jobs are posted at a specific time of day, so if you snooze you lose. Jobs are competitive. I think a lot of these negative complaints are dated. I have found the support and communication to be great. If a job is over what was reported to Jyve, which has happened, my regional manager has adjusted the rate to account for the issue. That problem is not with Jyve, the vendor is very shaky on accuracy that they report to Jyve. Con- The problem that I experience is with the stores that Jyve is asked to support can have just the worst management. If Stores and Jyve vendors can rate Jyvers through a different app, then Jyvers should be able to rate stores. As a former rideshare driver, I know that Uber initially only allowed riders to rate drivers, then did both ratings. Bodily rated stores should be banned from Jyve, just like bad riders are banned from rideshare. These stores need to be held accountable for their hostility towards gig workers. We are there as a service to the store, not to be abused by the store. Letting the vendors only deal with it is bad business. Unless Jyve and their vendors is aiming to be added to the current list of stores and apps that are currently being boycotted.

This a poorly run business with horrible training. I went to do my first jyve along and was met by the rudest most disrespectful jyve guru. He barely was able to put any words together to form a sentence. Certainly he should not be representing anyone or being around customers. After driving more than an hour through LA traffic to get to the store 20+ miles away. This rude person was late and no where near the place I was told to meet them. When I finally found him sitting outside he was not wearing a jvye shirt or did he have the Id or lanyard I was told to look for. He said set down and open the app. Then after that he had trouble explaining anything or telling me what was to happen. He basically sat their dumb founded like he has never talked to humans before in his life. 10 minutes later after saying about 10 words he said rudely this won’t work you can go leave and go home. Thank you jyve for wasting my time and gasoline to be treated rudely by your supposed trainer. I don’t know how you train guru’s but Is obvious that you don’t care about your 1099 staff weather they are trained properly. Merely send them out to meet with rude wasteful people who should not work around any kind of customers. If I were looking for 1099 work with a good company I would stay away from this place. You can find a better app and better company than this place.
