Bill pay in particular is not easy to use. The most recent example: tried to add a payee and as you would expect, the account number is one of the required fields. However, the app switches to a numeric keyboard which doesn’t work for account numbers that have letters. So I had to use a desktop to add the payee. Another day, when I tried to pay a bill through the app, the select payee field wouldn’t load so I was unable to make the payment using the app.
The app is not top tier but it works and with the new update it looks even nicer.
The app itself is basic and overall underwhelming. Yes it gets the job done, in terms of online banking, but rarely does it keep up with updates and new trends. It’s not advanced enough to sync with my IPhone or ApplePay. I am aware that it is a credit union and not a bank so I won’t compare it to the other companies I bank with (US Bank, Chase, etc.). I only banked with them because of school. Will be closing my account the second I graduate.
