I do not like that I cannot control my lights by accessing the app straight off my phone screen. I have to literally go through the App Store and open the app that way then for some reason the controls work. Very weird. I hope the creators can fix this issue I’m having bc it’s really annoying. What I say next has nothing to do with what I said before….when I hooked them up I thought these lights were all defective because they were Bluetooth connected but the lights Wouldnt turn on: well it was my incompetent brain that actually connected the lights the wrong way to the USB. Please try again if you really thought they were broke and just Flip around the connection strip the other way with the label facing towards you.!!

I bought the sunset lamp, and since the remote control didn’t work right out of the box I downloaded the app. Every single button on the app, from the power button to the settings, works maybe a fifth of the time. That means I have to sit there toggling the on/off button several times before it turns off or on. Same with changing the color, etc. Highly aggravating. It gets two stars because even if it takes a full minute of toggling and closing and reopening the app just to do something simple like turn the light off sometimes, it does eventually work without me having to get up and physically flip the switch.

I like that I don’t have to use a separate remote but I don’t understand how the timer feature works. I have tried to get it to turn off at a specific time but I don’t understand what the different switches mean or how I set the light to turn off after like 20 minutes. I think it someone explained it then I would understand. Other than the lack of instructions it is a pretty good app. An improved and more user friendly timer feature would be nice. (Perhaps similar to an apple timer?)
