Absolutely terrible experience. I tried connecting with TWO different phones and the app still failed every single time when scanning for media. The camera itself is useless if the app can’t perform the most basic function it was designed for. The connection process is frustrating, unreliable, and feels completely broken. After wasting time troubleshooting, restarting devices, reconnecting Wi-Fi, and retrying scans over and over again, the app still refuses to detect media properly. For something that’s supposed to make transferring footage easy, this app does the exact opposite. Poor optimization, poor reliability, and a complete waste of time. If your workflow depends on quickly accessing media from your camera, avoid this app until the developers fix these issues.
I just got this camera and found it easy to upload pictures to my phone. Wanted an updated phone for trip I’m taking soon. Pictures look good too!
Have tried many time with no connection. The phone connects to the Wi-Fi cam perfect but the app will not connect to camera. Have waited up to 5min with no connection. Then I find the camera has locked up due to the app and have to remove battery to reboot. I have connected to the phone and left it several minutes on Wi-Fi and the camera is fine and can exit the Wi-Fi on camera. But as soon as I start the app on the phone and attempt the connect to the camera the camera will lock up and then again I have to remove the battery to reboot. I hope the developers see this and respond with a fix soon. Connecting to the phone is one reason we chose this camera.
