All previous versions of Attheraces apps have in their form analysis contained a speed map for each race which informs the user at a glance of the pace a race will be run at. This one doesn’t so let’s take for example a fifteen runner race. Without a speed map the user has to look at the form of several previous races of all of the fifteen runners in order to find out the pace of the race, which is something which can be seen immediately with a pace map. That is just for one race there are around twenty eight in an average day. Their is no draw bias indicator for flat races. There is no course guide.(some racetracks are stamina testing, some are tight in circumference and therefore suit horses with speed). There are no course trainer and jockey statistics. Quite how fifteen thousand reviewers gave this app an average score of 4:7 out of 5,is quite beyond me.
I have had this app on my phone and Ipad for several years however recently it has developed a bug. The results only works for a day or two at most before needing to delete and reinstall. It seems to get stuck on the previous days results and will not give the current day. Getting to be a bit irritating. Obviously cannot be bothered to fix it as it is now October. Better off with the Racing Post app for results. Pity.
Anybody who gambles on a regular basis must have this website in there life...10 of 10 ..love the speed rating tips It is a hidden gem.i hold my breath when watching the channel and speed ratings bangs in another big price winner due the presenters flagging it up..Lawrence Taylor ratings are tip top..the tracker is excellent as well along race replays when looking at the form..could go on..thanks for the great website!!
