Pitch X – Pitch Counter

This is a very basic and easy to use app to run outside of GameChanger that has exactly what you want and need. The $3 is worth it to have all your pitchers counts in one place, on the fly. You can start a new outing and then view previous outings that will give total pitch count which is very helpful for tracking total pitch counts in tournament play.

First, I’ve only played around with the app, haven’t used it during a game yet. Ran into an issue with the Family Sharing not working. Reached out to Evan, he replied within a day. I had other questions, again, prompt reply. I’m not too concerned with how things will go moving forward knowing he is on top of it. Fantastic customer service and support.

I love the app. Works great for basic pitch counting. I recommend options to track types of pitches or n addition to counts so coaches can see which pitches tend to get used more often but also if the pitches are generating strikes or balls. Maybe include a way to track strikes when batters swing at pitches and a way to record Strikeouts, walks and hit batters. These are all things pitchers need to be aware of.
