The gameplay isn’t terrible, it plays about as decently as any of Hex Games’ other civil war titles. However I don’t really like the mechanics used in this game such as not being able to attack while in column formation or the general lack of effectiveness regarding artillery. Other than that it isn’t that bad of a game.

Great, as these games usually are. The only quirk was the artillery seemed very ineffective against infantry at close range. It never seemed to inflict multiple hits unlike in their other games. Double canister at point blank range should only cause 1 hit point loss. Other than that it is perfect.
