While the app has a plentiful stock of fxs and filters, most of the fxs ade paywall’d into the app, and without a easily maneuvering controller on mobile, the app lacks a versatility that many other video apps such as CapCut and Canva have surpassed. The ability to make quick, copy layer edited videos and highlights are supported with VideoFX, though, after holding and executing layered fx chains, you’ll realize you can’t accurately time the fx or fully customize the options of the effect. Though, if you like surreal edits, and quickly punching buttons on a whim of pure creativity, experimentation, or viscera of familiarity, then the app is perfect for your needs. If you want to make detailed customized video editing, text customization, screen cropping and more alternatives of video editing, go with CapCut, if you want templates, Canva, if you want impressionable stock fx, go with VideoFX.

I have downloaded and re-downloaded this app multiple times over the years. Every time I deleted because nothing had really changed and it wasn't worth it to have the app for only a few free effects. However, I was bored and gave it another try today. I'm trying to be fair. But honestly, this is beyond ridiculous. Because when I got in and imported a video to work on, I tried to click the + button to add effects. The button did not work for whatever reason. Devs, this is a HUGE problem. Why does it not work? Because I did not pay for the subscription? Or is it an accidental glitch? Either way, all I could do was export the project. And why would I want to do that, since I was unable to add ANYTHING to it—music, overlays, effects? The developers have not responded to any of the one-star reviews they have gotten, which shows me that they either don't care about the flaws in their app or think that somehow the people writing these reviews are wrong about their app not working and are just determined to give the devs a hard time. That is not the case. I am trying to help you by pointing out a humongous flaw which is DEFINITELY not motivating me to pay the subscription, which gets YOU money.

I really enjoy the concepts and ideas used in the making of this app ,I think the Effects are great but I would like to have more control over the sound and volume of them. I would also add to this , that the sound effects are great too and I would like to see more flexibility on placing the various effects together because moving them on top of each other and controlling the distances can be a little cumbersome. I also found that the final render on the completed video was a bit distorted on the pixelation but it still came out pretty good. As I am paying a subscription it would be nice to see some of these Improvements on this app. thank you very much! And keep up the great work on it as I enjoy using it!!👌🎬👍🙂
