Video Effects Editor: Riveo

I’ve used lots of video editors before and I’ve used a lot of them from the Apple Store too, but recently I’ve had a whole lot of fun with this one in particular because there’s always an update and it has so many high quality video effects that only a desktop or laptop video editing program would have. Plus the output of video effects and basic editing without any video effects will usually take awhile to output depending on how long a video cut is and the quality that you’re trying to output the video on a Mac 🖥️ or a PC. This one cuts your time in half. The only thing that I would suggest is that when you’re outputting video at the lowest high definition resolution (720p) that it didn’t output at such a high gigabyte amount for a video that doesn’t have many video effects in it or any at all with the video being only 15 minutes or less. Otherwise this video editor has my full attention with a desire to continue to keep using it. Believe me it’s definitely worth paying for because it stays up-to-date with the iOS operating system and I would recommend paying for it for the whole year because it’s worth it! You’ll have a lot of fun with it too. 5 stars...⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I remember when I discovered this app while watching Reels from Instagram. At first I thought it was one of those video editors that you downloaded and in the end they ended up being a big disappointment because they were very expensive or their functions were limited. It wasn’t until I downloaded the application, and it didn’t take me long to adapt to it and make it my favorite video editor. I’ve been looking for less expensive and affordable alternatives to editing videos for months, and Riveo definitely exceeded my expectations in everything an editor could offer for having been developed for iOS devices. I think this application should be at the top of the best video editors, more people have to know this. I hope with all my heart that it will be so and that Marcus will continue to integrate functions that make the editor even more accessible and comfortable for everyone. PS: And for all those who say that the editor is too expensive or that everything should be free, they should be more informed because this project is financed and supported by a single person.

Just discovered the app today, and man you guys have the potential to be the first doing a pro motion graphic software for the iPad. It has the potential to be that, especially since nothing like After Effects exists for the platform. My feedback would be to go all out on making this a pro piece of software. You have a great UI going on, but it’s limited in execution. iPadOS is now much more evolved and dynamic. UI/UX experiences should account for touch, pencil, keyboard, and mouse/pointer input. Would like to see the app get shortcuts and hot keys. Would like to see it work better with mouse input and keyboard. I also think the timeline should be size independent. Meaning, a user should be able to create in the size they want to work in and when they bring content in, it should be able to be resized. So in other words a blank canvas should be able to be created like a document and as we bring more in the logos or whatever else we bring it should be able to just scale. I think it would be much better if resizing elements wasn’t based on what is first brought in. We should be able to create the size canvas we want and everything should be based off of that. The platform really needs a great motion/animation software for logos. I think you guys have a great foundation here, and if you think about things in terms of becoming a pro app for motion graphics and logo animation, there is a big user base that would love to have something like this for iPad Pro. I’m also seeing bugs where some effects don’t show sometimes, and other glitches. But you guys have something really incredible on your hands here and I really hope to see it continue to be updated and evolved. We’ve needed a tool like this for the platform for a long time.
