The Mystery of Haunted Hollow

The game itself is interesting with good graphics and a pretty easy interface. Each part to the maze is interconnected with clues and tools that you'll need in a different section so it all keeps you engaged and alert. The notebook is incredibly helpful so you don't have to go back through the maze each time you need a refresher on one of those past clues. What I don't like, is that you become relatively invested in the story and collect the clues and tools only to be kept out of the main mansion and therefore must be kept in suspense (though the outcome of the story is pretty predictable even without finishing it) unless you pay to continue playing. I'm not a fan of games that get you started with a storyline only to trick you into paying to conclude. I'll stick with Haiku games and their stories, graphics, and mystery without being tricked into shelling out for anything more than a teaser.

Okay I will admit that starting this game I was left a bit disappointed as it didn’t have the artistic quality, voiceovers, characters, cut scenes that many of the better Big Fish or my favorite BN-Five games did, but what it lack in those areas it made up for in puzzle solving challenges. This game does not let you skip anything and it forces you to really think things through to solve puzzle. That really made you think and not jus react.. almost a mini IQ test. All in all it as very reward. No hints, no skipping, and no hidden object crap. A true point and click game. I’m going on to play the next in the series. Well, well worth the price.

I was enjoying your game so much until I got to the door knocker puzzle, I tried 8 times, yes I am stubborn , to play this puzzle but due to your ad popping up over the door knockers which I answered no to the first time 3 times and the second time 5 times, I quit and deleted your game. I WILL NOT BE BLACKMAILED INTO SPENDING MY MOMEY, I might spend it as I want on a game and I do but if I have to pay to continue the game it makes me mad. Sorry I can not finish this hunt but there are too many good games out there I will try another!
