I enjoyed it and how simple and all it is till the 1.7.0 version came out and even after an uninstall/reinstall it just crashes at boot. Now that off my chest I kinda wish the presets carried over from whatever device you use to control the lights and had some more stencils for the light locations like a car or such dice they only had pickups or a jeep. I wish when the color is set to yellow you could see it highlighted since the highlight ring is white and can't been seen with the yellow color for the led light. The strobe could be better maybe customizable the strobe pattern/color. The lights spot could be a better focused pattern and the flood could be improved but what to expect for the really lost price it's still a good value thou hence why I've got a couple of them and will get more for my other rigs. I do wish it kinda had a standalone controller along with the Bluetooth access but I could just do with the Bluetooth with just a stand alone dedicated a tablet or phone which I've got a few laying around so not to big of a deal for me.

I really like the Type S Off-Road Light Bar, but hate the Bluetooth capabilities. It takes a while for it to connect on my Iphone 11 Pro Max S/V 14.6. Because it was too dark i turned it on via bluetooth. Few minutes later, oncoming car approaches, i grab my phone to unlock it and turn off the Light Bar, but by the time i actually get into the app, oncoming car has passed by me with a blinding face. If theres an update to where it defaults to have it turned ON when power is applied via a relay/switch and then only use the actual app to mess with the RGB colors and settings, i would give 5 stars. PLEASE UPDATE

Ever since the last update that changed the game way the app looked none of my lights function properly, they’re literally not even worth using at this point, it’s that bad. Speed adjustment doesn’t work right, it almost doesn’t even work at all, when adjusted all the way up the lights appear to be steady burn then flash once every like 1 minute or so but when adjust at 1/4 of full speed they are kinda fast but not like before and I haven’t been able to find anything wrong with my lights, vehicle or phone and this is phone #2 that this problem among the page long list of other issues I’m experiencing that this has persisted with. And I’m now considering the hundreds of dollars I’ve spend on Type S lights to be a loss. To other people who are on the fence about buying some, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! You guys really need to fix this crappy app you have or provide your customers with an update or some kind of solution to this problem because I’ve spent well over $600 on these products only for them to randomly be rendered useless.
